Either in her current project or with her amazing former band Venus Guytrap, Sammi has probably played more JTM showcases than any other artist in the city -- and as such it only seems appropriate that we should host the RVA release show of her incredible forthcoming debut EP on 6131 Records - 'For Avery'! Sammi's been riding a wave of momentum ever since the announcement of her signing with 6131, and we're pumped to celebrate such a monumentous moment in her carreer with her!! She's briniging along some heavy hitters to share the stage with her that night -- RVA's rapidly rising hail mary rockers Piranha Rama, Harrisonburg's indie pysch high energy performance duo Illiterate Light and Philadelphia's psych pop darlings and JTM homies, Secret Nudist Friends.
